I saw an old post using MC 20 with the same problem but there was no solution. I burned an audio CD in MC22 and play it back on two different players and the same problem exists. If I advance the player to another track and start the track, it plays the last couple of seconds of the previous track. I have tried disabling the Cross-fade and DSP effects as the MC20 post suggests but the problem still exists. I have also tried different Burning settings and nothing resolves this problem. I am running MC22 on a Windows 10 platform. The files are MP3 and I'm trying to burn an audio CD. Please advise if there is a fix for this. I never experienced this problem when using Media Jukebox. Thank you.

Still need help on this issue. Any ideas?

When you burn a CD, I think you have an option to "close" the disc. Try it.

Thanks for your response. The only option I see to close the disc is under Data Burning. I tried it after checking that option and the result was the same. When I advanced the track it played 1 or 2 seconds of the end of the previous track. I have also tried burning it on a different computer running Windows 7 and had the same problem. I've also tried checking the Apply cross-fade and DSP effects and selecting Satndard (gapped) for 3 seconds. Same problem. Any other ideas?

What are the players you're using?

I've tried the CDs in three different players, my vehicle, boom box, and my professional player made by Numark. Same problem in all. I was looking at the options in my old Media Jukebox 12 and under Burning there is an additional setting called Cross-fade and DSP settings in addition to the Apply cross fade and DSP effects. I have the first one set to Standard (gapped) 2S but the Apply option is not checked so I'm not sure it's doing anything. There is also an option called Decode File directly to disc which I have checked. Neither of those options is in MC22. Never had this problem in MJ12.
I see there is an old post under MC20 last year that had the same problem. I don't see that there was ever a solution found in that post.

Try it without any DSP.

i've tried with and without DSP. The same thing happens either way. Any other ideas?
