Hi folks,
I am wondering which is the best way to quickly enter a serie of captions for a serie of images. I found two ways but neither of them is really convenient :
1st method : List style set to details, properties pane set to show images. then F2 to edit a field called Caption and up/down arrows to navigate.
Problem : The image displayed in properties does not follow the caption editing. or I need to click each time
2nd method : List style set to thumbnails, properties set to file info. I select an image, select the caption field in properties to edit. I can navigate from adjacent images using page up/page down but
Problem : Each time I enter a new caption and navigate to the next one I have to click in the field again. Also the captioned image is just a thumbnail.
The 2 methods require using both the keyboard and the mouse. Or I may miss something.
If someone can please direct me to a better solution, I would be grateful.
When captionning a serie of more than 300 photos it would be great to just have a big display of the current image, the caption field and two controls previous/next to navigate. The closest to this is method 1 with image display synchronization in property pane.
Thanks for any help and/or comments,
Christian

Bumping this one...
Nobody really likes captioning his/her pictures ?

Hmm, I never even spotted this one.
I'd say v1 is how it's meant to work and it's simply a bug.
Report it in the bug thread that the image isn't following the file being edited and I'm sure matt will fix it so it does.

Both methods will work next build.
Thanks!
