Title: Help with an Export Maybe?

Hi,

I am probably doing something silly but.........

With MJ8 i used to periodically create an all files playlist then export it to a format readable in Excel.

Then i would sort it and filter it to allow me to have a list of my Artists and there respective albums.

I am trying to do the same again now (Using MC9 .180)
however i cannot find a way for it to show only only Artist / Album without including lots of additional entries that relate to Various Artist Albums.

ie at the very top of my list i get

Artist - 1 giant leap Album - Now 52

Obviously that is correct, but i want to just have:

Artist - Various Artists Album - Now 52

Or better still - if an album has various artists (in the Album Artist field) to just show the Album Name.


I am sure it something to do with sorting / view schemes / Album Artist.


I hope this makes sense - If not just Shout.

someone suggested doing this:


Make a search criteria  track # =1

then it'll just give u one track from each album which u can use - I think it was NoCodeUK - hassle him :)
