Was sitting here not doing anything but listening to some 1980's music and was thinking it would sure be nice if i can hear them all but only about 15 seconds or so of each.
this plug-In will allow you to do this.
Put all the files you wish (Maybe your 1980's play list) and enter the plugin. it will start playing the music.

Let Me Know If It Installs, I Included Only The Very Basic Runtime Files.

Well done King !
Listen to a little, like it, play it in full by selecting Playing Now. A little problem (I think). If you select "Next" option the next song doesn't play to nominated duration. For example, if duration is set at 25 secs and 1 song is played for 10 secs, next selected, 2nd song plays only for 15 secs.
And.. What's with the flashing background.
Thanks again
Marra

>> A little problem (I think).
yep, I will fix that tomorrow, I need to reset the timer to "0"
>> What's with the flashing background.
was playing around
I guess that means it installs.
the songs play at random by the way.
-
Yes, no problems installing.
Why not have the playlist appear on the right to show next title etc but also to select beyond next.
Ampersand (and perhaps others) not showing correctly in title and artist.

well since it is random, the next is not selected yet
Also I Just Uploaded the Fix For The Timer Problem.

Oh Wow King - this is fabulous !! For me, it's definitely your best one yet - thankyou very much.
It installed ok although I got a message saying it was unable to register the program. I get this message with all your plug-ins although they've all installed ok except the Chart Grabber which would'nt install.
I'm sure you get fed up with people asking you for more features every time you write a plug-in, but I'm gonna do the same anyway. What's the chance of being able to write the output from this plug-in to cd - that'd make my day/month/year !!!
Thanks again
Jim

It might not have permision to write to the registry, thats a system setting.
the chart grabber i think it has something to do with the DLL version and the version of ms office you may have. if you do not have ms office then it will not work, you also may need a newer version of office.

not good, I don't see an option to do anything like that in the SDK.

I don't have MS Office and never had. But Chart Grabber installed without problems and works like it should.

JaWe
Nice To Know That It Works Without MS Office
Then it might be the OS version, the DLL i used was for the MS Office Beta and might only run on OS like Windows 2000, Windows XP
Microsoft Likes to Cut Of support for older OS's at around 4 or 5 years.
-
King,
If it was from the Office 2003 Beta then it will not work on anything older than Win 2K as MS have indeed removed support for older opertaig systems from this new version...Apparently it will make office more secure and less crash prone if they no longer support the 9x line...

Thats what I thought
I agree with them...

Ampersand (and perhaps others) not showing correctly in title and artist.
This is now fixed

Thanks King!
This is a cute plug-in!
Love it
-
King,
Just started playing with this abit.
Nice job.
Any chance of making it a bit more powerful specifically:
Right now u have: Play X Seconds of each song
Could this become Play X Seconds of each song from point A
(alot of songs have slow intro's and u dont get a feel for the song until your into it a bit - the intro isn't too good for rating songs with).
Also, not sure if you want to - but this could be 'advanced playback controls' - rather than party sampler.
A-B looping of songs between two points would be great.
Tempo control would be nice too but I'm not sure if this is possible as your using MC to do the playback.
-
King,
great idea, thank you !!
You have to take more time for just sitting around and thinking anything....
