I purchase 8.0 after also purchasing 7.0 back in the day. I recently download Media Center 9 and restored my license, which WAS purchased AFTER 12-1-2003, so why doesn't it register??

if you bought MJ8 Before Dec 3rd 2002 it works with MC9 if after it does not and you need to buy an upgrade.

was MJ8 registered before you installed MC9?

if not you may need to go to the restore page.

do you get any error messages or anything?

what makes you think it is not registered?
