Title: Feature request: MCWS add languages
Post by: fredele on June 16, 2017, 11:18:12 pm
Maybe did I miss something, but I can't see where you can retreive the translation files of MC with MCWS.
Client should be able to display the fields in any given language.

This would be not difficult or long to implement, the client can process the file himself.
Maybe I'm wrong.?

The client has their own translation files, why would it want the one from the server?

Well, OK, that does make sense.

So the client must implement all the fields translation himself which means copying the values from the MC's translation files themselves.

Yes, you can see it that way.

But suppose you have customized your translation file and use custom view on the client: what does happen ?
The  client cannot translate what he does not know: you got default - english.

In fact,
"localhost:52199/MCWS/v1/Library/Fields"
only returns english fields, there's no translation there which is logic.

OK, that's an "advanced " case ...

Thanks !
