Only a small one (MC23):
Was it the purpose of the Designer to have it like it appears on my screen?
-
Which skin, specifically? What size? Any skin effects? Screen resolution? Which Windows OS?
I just tried all of them and it works fine for me. Something's messed up - I'd try deleting the ModernCards skins in MC's install directory > Skins > Standard View and reinstalling the latest MC23 build.
-
Win 10; Grey Edition; Screen Resolution is 3440 x 1440.
In the attachment of my post you see that the grey bar goes before and behind the volume bar. You see it in my attachment.
It is really a minor problem.
-
I see that, but I can't reproduce it - even though I don't have a monitor that wide (but it does have a 1440 height).
Have you tried reinstalling the skin?
-
No.
-
If I use your updated skins:
https://yabb.jriver.com/interact/index.php/topic,106397.0.html (https://yabb.jriver.com/interact/index.php/topic,106397.0.html)
then the problem dissapears.
Does MC not automatically update the skin's if you install a new version of MC?
-
The bundled skins (Dark, Grey and White) aren't included in that additional skin pack. But, when I do updates to the main bundled skins, I submit them so they're updated with a MC update. Your issue sounds like the Grey skin's files were corrupted or something (or a bad main.xml) hence why deleting the skin and reinstalling it may help. Strange indeed.
I guess I should update the additional skins to be 'installable' like Marko does with his skin. I'll have to read the Wiki when I have some time on how to do this so I can do it at some point.
-
For me really not an big issue. Yesterday I installed MC 23 and it popped up to my eyes.
-
Yeah, MC23 includes a major update to the Grey skin (which better fits the macOS style).
Anybody else encounter any issues?
-
Looks like this issue might be resolved in the next version. If this is indeed the same issue, it was a leftover from the creation and conversion of the skin from the original Modern Cards: Light Edition which has been addressed.
My apologies for any inconvenience due to this oversight. :)

With the new build 23.0.17 I can confirm its fixed ;). Thank you very much!
