Hello all,
I have been using this program for several months. I've just uploaded to mc9.018 and it seems to CRASH all the time. Sometimes in the middle of a song some times in a transition. I hear a click, and my computer is off. >:( BAM just like that. Crashes to nothing. I dont have this problem in other programs like winamp or even mj8.
How can i diagnose and fix whats causing this? its quite unsettling.
Thanks for any advice,
Chris

If you go to Help And Click On System Info you Can Paste That Info Into your Next Message
That May Help
MC9 Does Work On Non Windows 2000 & XP But
Anything Below Windows 2000 Is Not Stable.
If You Have Visuals On When Your Playing Turn them Off
See If you Still Have The Problem.
If It Does Not Crash Then Maybe Try Updating your Video Driver. Get A New Video Board Or Throw The Computer Out The Window.

I just made a long post and it got nixed due to post limits
so i'l post a few diag info posts.
MC9 Will crash when listening to mp3's and not touching the console. Visuals may be doing it? It crashes all the time if i really multi task with in the program. ie. search for cover art, listen to mp3's change views at the same time.

The kind of crash you describe is a hardware problem.

Does the fact that my m-audio card shares an irq with the usb host controller make a difference?
Maybe, Normaly If A CD Rom Shares A IRQ With A Modem You Will See A System Crash.
Some Devices Work Fine When Sharing
