Title: MC 23 running at start up with prompt (to run or not)
Post by: CallMeSteven on July 05, 2017, 03:47:31 am
Currently I'm using MC 22 with the Media Server. On start of (of Windows 10), Media Server icon is shown in the system tray and MC 22 is only
activated by either clicking on a music file or selecting 'Show Media Center' from the system tray.

On installing MC 23 and imported the Main Library and as far I could tell all the settings transferred over to MC23. However after a reboot I'm getting a prompt
asking me if I should run MC 23. Another words the behaviour is not the same as MC 22.

Any ideas to resolve this? For now I've gone back to MC 22, which is a shame as I wanted to try the new features. It's probably obvious but I cannot see any setting that
helps!

Thanks   Steven

This usually happens if you run MC22 and MC23 at the same time. Make sure to turn auto-start in MC22 off, then confirm the start of MC23 once, and after that it should stop as long as you don't start MC22 anymore.
