Title: Pop up box

Whenever the mouse pointer lands on an item such as a file name or word items, a pop up box appears providing info on the item. I would like to disable this feature, but cant to find a way to do it. I hv tried unchecking "Tools >Options > General > Interface > Show On Screen Instructons" but that didn't seem to be it..  Any advise appreciated...

I can't remember its exact name, but try "Tools > Options > Tree & View > tooltips" (It's about the fourth item from the top on the right if I remember right...

you can also add this to your toolbar as a toggle button, but, when used that way, it doesn't actually toggle until you force a view refresh by moving to another view and back again.
