Title: Irdac ii remote and jriver behaviour
Post by: rapula2010 on July 15, 2017, 08:34:05 am
HI,

I have the Arcam IRDAC II connected via USB to my HTPC which is running windows 10 and MC23. This DAC has a remote with basic transport controls (stop/pause/play/next and previous). These controls are passed through the usb interface and in windows cause the expected events to occur. If JRiver is running in the background (say playing audio) and I am doing something else then the controls work perfectly. I assume windows captures the keypresses and passes them onto the application correctly. If, however MC23 is in the foreground then only the pause button works as expected and the other transport buttons don't work. Is there some setting to allow the transport settings to work the same when JRiver is in the foreground as they do when it is in the background.

Thanks
JR

Just a guess.  Try MC's settings for Media Keys.  Options has a search window.
