Title: Ot- allmost-SoundBlaster 24 bits/96 khz
Post by: zevele10 on July 04, 2003, 11:24:41 pm
I see that my soundcard SounBlaster Extigy is 24 bits/96 khz compatible.

In this case ,i may get better sound if using WMA9 lossless 24 bits/96 khz instead of the default 16 bits ?

If yes:
-any problem the day an 'Ipod' look alike reading WMA 9 lossless out ?
- any problem when converting to MP3 and OGG ?

You can use that setting in Wma9 but only if the source is also @ that setting, if you are ripping a Normal CD of Music it won't sound any better because the CD is only @ 16 bits
