Title: Newbie, the right way to go
Post by: jpdspin on August 03, 2017, 11:28:44 am
Hello everyone,
In my collection I have over 65 000 files.
The first time I try to import with auto import, I realized it was not the way to go...my laptop was a little bit stress out.
I imagine that I should divide the collection in folder to import it by batch.
- How much files per folder should I import at once?
- Choosing to import folder by folder, is it as complete as auto-import if I decide to put all the analyzed options?
I have a lot off incomplete tags and I would like JRiver to do all it can.
- I have 3 stations, I imagine that I wont have to do the job three times, I just have to put JRiver program and put JRiver music files and a duplicata of my hard drive in each stations to make it work.

Thank you.

Just let it run.  There is no need to divide the files.

Thank you for the answer Jim, I starting the importation in a hour and I'll tell how did it go.

Is it going to work if I copy the Library backups from a station to the other? with a clone of my hard drive with the same letter?
