Title: Convoler config files
Post by: klapaciuss on August 10, 2017, 07:43:18 pm
Hello. In JRiver Wiki there is following sentence:

If you want more control over what happens with different sample rates and channel configurations, you can generate separate filters at each sample rate, and MC will automatically switch between them, but you must use the following naming format for your filters: Name2.0_441 or Name5.1_48, etc. The regular expression is: ^(.+)(\\d{1}.\\d{1})_(\\d{2,3}).cfg$, which outputs: Name Channels Sample rate.

My question is: How can I configure convoler in JRiver MC23 DSP Studio when there is more than one config file? There is place only for one config file.

You make one config file for each sample rate, and name them according to the rules, see the highlighted config files in my system. Then you add one of those in DSP studio (I have pointed to the 44.1 version). As you see in the info box in the lower righthand corner below in the DSP screenshot, it actually then uses the 96kHz config file when playing 96 contents.
