Title: Never bought jremote/ios before. Can i buy the ios10 version for use in ios9.x?

Hi, I have never bought jremote before but would like to buy now but I am still on ios 9.x. Can I buy it now and then expect it to magically install an older version for ios 9.x?

Yes this should work. Go to your bought apps section and it should download a compatible version from there.

This is not an official reply from anyone associated with or working for jriver. I'm just an end user, same as you.
I was able to install jremote on an iphone running ios7, using the method as described, but I bought jriver on an ipad running ios9 (at the time).
