Title: Setup question, HHHHelp

I am new to this forum and limited knowledge of computers. I am currently using JRiver 23 and sound blaster ZxR soundcard. This is setup with Rotel RC-1590 and RD-1590, Bowers and WIlkens CM10's, sound card hooked up via RCA cables to preamp. My problem is that I have blown 8 drivers over the last two years. I feel I am missing something and looking for information to optimize my setup. My music is copied on a dedicated computer running windows 8.1 to a library in AIFF format. Thank you in advance.

Welcome. 

MC has an option called "Volume Protection".

If you're having trouble with the sound card, there are many inexpensive USB DAC's you could try.
