Title: no program window

Cannot get MC 23 to display a window. The program runs (as shown in tasks), but does not display a usable window. Now that I've installed 23, 22 has the same problem, which it never did before. Running Win 10 64-bit, latest version.

It looks like the main window is stuck outside the visible screen area?

What happens if you enter:
ctrl-1
through
ctrl-5

If the window is outside the visible screen, this might be worth trying:

Click the icon on the task bar to make the window active (even though you can't see it)
Press Alt-space bar
Press the M key
Use the up/down and left/right arrow keys to try to move the window onto the visible screen.

Figured out that it is a very slow startup, taking up to 5 minutes before the program window displays. MC23 is running, but does not display a window until its initial processing is done. (It has nothing to do with window visibility; thanks for the suggestion.)
