Dear ALL,
I have created a playlist in MC22 (actual version , Win) and while playing, some songs are played double. This only occurs when songs are played begin-to-end and the change to the next song is to be performed by MC automatically. I can't trace down the root cause. There are no duplicate files in the folders the playlist-position is pointing to. When stepping through the playlist with "next button" it behaves as it should, i.e. no repeated songs.
Any ideas what causes the behaviour?
Many thanks for help, it drives me crazy at parties...

What device are you playing to?
-
It is an AVR ( Pioneer SC-LX57) with eos-app as contoller (Android 6)
-
What happens if you play files using MC (without eos)?
How is the PC connected to the AVR?
-
If I play songs from the playlist in MC itself (running on a Laptop, internal soundcard and speakers used) it works normal.
The laptop with MC is connected by LAN to the AVR. The controller app eos on smartphone is connected by WLAN.
I will try another controller app (Bubble or similar) and see if these repeates occur then too ...
-
You can also use MC as the controller.

Hi Jim,
MC as controller? The laptop with MC is not with me while moving along in the house.
Are there other ways to control MC directly?
Tested the behaviour with Bubble-DLNA player/controller >>> Repeating songs occurs too :-(

Gizmo and JRemote, and now Panel

Take your Android remote out of the equation as a test. Configure MC on your laptop to play to your network device, and start the playlist from MC.

OK, Thanks ALL :-)
Will test asap
