Title: non-us kbd layout
Post by: Kott on August 17, 2017, 07:52:10 am
Greetings.

I just realized that alternative keyboard input does not work in MC. For example RU. Copy-pasting such string works as usual.
I've tested that in openSUSE TW and 42.2 Plasma5 and IceWM, no ibus installed.

Add secondary Russian layout. I use KDE (see att.), but same behavior is in XFCE or IceWM. I don't use ibus stack.
Then switch layout to RU and try to type any letters/words in any text field in MC, playlist name or in search filed. No input.
Pasting with ctrl-v hotkey do paste Cyrillic letters/words.

Thanks for the feedback, it will be implemented in the next build.

Hello.

I'm having this same input problem except with Korean and Chinese (Traditional) keyboard layouts. When I try to type in either of these languages, such as in the search bar, nothing happens. Pasting works but not typing. I'm using KDE and version 23.0.73 of Media Center.
