Title: Help with Playing DSD Files over Ethernet

I'm a bit stuck on trying to get JRiver to work, I've looked on forum posts and on the wiki pages, but for the life of me can't figure it out!!

I'd like to know how to get JRiver (so what settings I need to have) to send music to a DAC (currently a Yamaha rx-3050 av receiver) over an ethernet connection and keep it bit perfect. The files I'm most interested in sending are .flac and .dsf

Any help is much appreciated!!

Hi JimH,

Thanks for replying :), unfortunately I'm unable to find any information which I can a - understand and b - get an answer from!

It would be great if we could get this feature to work and I have a feeling it's just a couple of settings that we need to change. Any more help on this would be much appreciated.

Post by: robt on August 19, 2017, 10:26:20 am: How are you connecting the AV receiver to your computer? I see it has a dac function so if its a USB (guess it will have to be for dsds) then make sure you have the drivers and select it as the output on the computer (task bar and right click the speaker icon and select the appropriate entry.

That should get you started..
