Time to go to bed if not ::)
-
It's 9pm here...if they haven't posted a new version by 6pm they probably won't.

Sorry -- no build tonight.
We're retooling the menu / toolbar system so it loads most of the menu text and all of the accelerators from an XML file. Enabled / disabled updating will always be slicker.
Hopefully tomorrow.

I THINK I understand what he just said... :)
(Hopefully tomorrow is the important part though.)

Dam', I thought they were working on Hairstyle :-/

Mmmh, yummy, smells like localization ;)

Mmmmmmmm... Hairstyle........

It's just the first baby step. It'll let people edit shortcuts though.

Hairstyle will get some more love. But the update from 9.0 to 9.1 already made it pretty cool IMO. (I use it for everything at home)
Later.

Aww, ruined my day at work that news did :(
I came in hoping to see and get a new build to play with and no build :(
I followed what u said about the Toolbar but not quite sure what it's implications will be for us?
Also, although making things accessible via skins is good, making it accessable via an options screen is nicer for us that aren't too familiar with XML and even more important to those people that aren't at all technical minded.
As long as it doesn't effect the speed though I'm happy.
Also - please whatever u do to it, let us have it so that we can keep the exact same toolbar setup we have now.
I have all my shortcuts around the program on the bottom with text and all my Tools, Filters, Style etc buttons at the top - again with text. I've also given the location toolbar text for everything which I want to stay! :)
While your re-doing toolbars etc - any chance of an 'address bar' when using my computer? It makes it possible to copy and paste locations from other tools instead of having to navigate again from scratch.

Agreed. But we want it dam' cool. Allowing a little bit more customization (e.g. by making all text fields available for display as with visualizations, associating list or thumbnail view with different locations), getting rid of the magenta font, implementing a 'Home' button, to name only a few, would bring us almost there...
