Title: What Preparation Is Needed Before Upgrading to MC?

I've checked the FAQ and using the "search" feature for the forum left me frustrated.  I hate to bother because I'm sure this has probably been asked before.

I'd like to upgrade to MC from MJ 8.0.399.  I've done a backup of my library.  Relying on the experience of others who've gone before me, what else should I do to protect my existing files/playlists/cover art, etc. in case I need to return to MJ?  Are there any other concerns/steps I should know about before converting?

I would say backing up is all ya need to do...If you have trouble with v9 you can alway reinstall v8 and restore your backup

Some yoga
Few hours of trancendental meditation
And a first aid kit

This are the REAL RULES.....

Now ,if you want to make short ,just backup your library.

If you keep MC 9 , i think you would have to start 'Replay Gain ' all over.

Not sure if it is still the case.
Better to open a new post and ask
