Title: Sort tracks to push highest birate to top of list - maintaining track order
Post by: jjfabbsy on September 08, 2017, 10:57:20 pm
Hi,

I'm using JRiver 23

I have a number of albums that are in 16 bit and 24 bit, and I always want my highest bitrate/bit depth versions of the album to be pushed to the top when I click on the Album via the "Audio" tab.

Please see the attached picture for what I see now, which usually has 16 bit up the top.

Is there a way I can achieve this for every album in my "Audio" section? It seems to drop off when I apply the sorting I want for one album and not apply to all.

Perfect scenario for sorting how album tracks are listed for me would be, in order of priority:

- Maintain disc/track ordering
- Push highest bit rate version of the album to the top (24/192 over 24/96 as example) - or if this is not possible as bit rates are variable, then just the bit depth is okay
- Split by folder
- Push any mp3/compressed versions to bottom (although I think bitrate sort would achieve this)

Thanks
