We've had a power outage at the JRiver facility. Our server will go down when the UPS runs low, so Interact may be down for a while.
We haven't determined the cause yet, but most likely it will be a short duration outage.
-
Will this outage prevent me from obtaining an access key?
-
It could have been impossible for an hour while the servers were down, but it should be back to normal now.
-
Thank you. Am I still able to register a server running version 19 of the app? Does JR prevent registrations of earlier versions in general?
-
There would not be a problem with that.

So the problem I have is the inability to register my server so that I can use JRemote on my iPad. I've opened port 52199 in Windows Firewall and have no other security SW running on this Windows 10 machine. I have confirmed that it is connected to the internet because I'm able to perform Google searches. I've also confirmed connection to your servers by running a Check For Updates which confirmed I have the latest version of the ver 19 app. This issue occurs on all of the PCs in my home. I assumed it was because your Servers didn't allow older MC versions to be registered but you've confirmed that's not the case.
In the Options menu I've checked the boxes for DLNA Server, Renderer and Controller. Reading your forums IO can't find any other setting I need to manage.
Your assistance is appreciated.

If you go to Tools->Options->Media Network
You have no entry for the access key??
