Title: how to import files from hard drive into playlist?

i don't store all of my tracks in media library, but rather in external hard drive (too much music!).  when i try to open files to put in a playlist (with the relevant playlist displayed in the main screen of MJ), the files are imported to 'playing now' rather than to the playlist.  is there a way of importing files directly to the playlist, or do i have to go via 'playing now'?  help please, thanks, nick ::)

Just drag-n-drop from Explorer to the playlist.
