Title: Feature request: allow resizing of columns in categories and panes window

I use custom fields in a customised panes view for classical music, allowing me to filter by period, scale and stuff. It works really well, except that the columns are automatically sized.

This doesn't work so well, as the automatic resizing mechanism isn't great. I have one column that needs to be wide (it's the name of the piece, including the key and the personnel - conductor, orchestra, soloists). Most of the other columns can be very narrow, as they only contain one word.

So I guess the feature request is either to improve the automatic resizing, or to allow manual resizing, of the columns.

That would get me upgrading from 22 to 23 straight away 😊

You might like turning the "Allow auto size to cut off long values" option off in Options > Tree & View > Advanced.

Still would be nice for complete control though
