Title: problem with Library in MC23 64 Bit
Post by: ms012873 on September 20, 2017, 01:59:29 am
I just installed MC23 64 bit and am having trouble with my library.  At least, that is what I think I am having trouble with.  I confess I am not sure.  This is the problem:  under Audio/Files/Location I can view my entire database.  Everything is just where it should be. Yet when I switch to a more graphical view, say Albums or Artists, do NOT see everything and CDs that I have renamed appear under their former names, showing that individual tracks that I know I have moved are still present.  I have "cleared" the library several times.  It is as if the program is reading from an old library, created under a previous file structure, and just won't see the new CDs or the moved/reorganized files.
I would be appreciative of any assistance or suggestions....
Thank you.

Try restoring a backup from your previous version of MC.

Videos on how to do this linked in my footer.

Thanks; I'll give that a try.

When switching version, its always best to make a backup in the version that is working, and then restore in the new version. That should definitely restore all the things to normal.
