Title: Portable problem
Post by: antonyb on October 01, 2017, 05:08:47 am
Hi,

I'm using JRiver portable mode in windows server 2016 in core edition.
I have two problems:

The autostarter of JRiver doesn't work.

JRiver doesn't find the tracks on NAS, if I map the NAS it works but if I restart the NAS it doen't work.

I've installed it in this way:
I've installed Windows in gui, I've activated the license, I've created the portable on C: program file(86), I've configured the NAS directory and the autostarter etc.. I've copied it on a usb drive then I've copied it from usb drive to C: program file (86) but in core mode.

Help!

That is not a supported OS.  The wiki has a top.

Windows Server operating systems are not supported by JRiver.

JRiver does not support running Media Center on Windows Server, especially when in Core Mode, or with any kind of third-party OS "enhancer" utilities. If you are doing either of these things, then we will be unable to assist you with any issues you encounter.

Yes, someone has succeeded.
I'm sorry he does not have the support.
