I have madvr smooth motion checked when judder would occur without it. It works great for blurays. It should not turn on for DVD because the refresh rate of the TV is an exact multiple of the fps for the DVD. Sometimes it is not on, as verified by ctrl-j. All is well then. But often smooth motion is selected for DVDs. On a 4k tv, this boosts the render time significantly resulting in terribly choppy playback. Anyone else experience this? Anyway to permanently set it on for Blu-ray and off for DVD? Not sure why it is I consistent. Maybe the DVD menu triggers it?
