Title: ESI U46DJ
Post by: zzoemie on October 02, 2017, 04:21:39 pm
Hi,

My sytem is fitted with an external U46DJ usb soundcard from ESI-Pro.
When i select in MC23 64 bit " analog connection U46DJ wasapi or any other connection to the U46DJ, the program closes orgives an error, depending on the selection.
In other program's like acon digital media, for editing music files, i can use the analog connection U46DJ whitout any problem
How can i resolve this?
I want to be able to use the usb soundcard instead of the internal soundcard.

Greetings
zzoemie

I'm guessing but from what I can see here:
http://download.esi-audiotechnik.com/download/ESI/U46DJ/U46DJ-English.pdf (http://download.esi-audiotechnik.com/download/ESI/U46DJ/U46DJ-English.pdf)

I think you need to be playing in the ASIO world. WASAPI might not be the right pick.

Assuming, of course, the ESI U46DJ has a 64-bit ASIO driver available.

Hi,

I've tried everything, but nothing is working.
nevertheless, the soundcard is recognized by win 10 (see attachement) and like i said, in other program's like acon digital media, for editing music files, i can use the analog connection U46DJ whitout any problem.
So i think it's an error in MC23 x64.

MC 64 bit is EXPERIMENTAL.  Please try MC 32 bit instead.   Wishing you good luck.
