Title: Current Thumbnail?
Post by: gkerber on June 27, 2003, 11:46:48 pm
In an earlier screen shot post, I remember seeing a thumbnail for the current album under the tree, in the lower left corner.

Does that feature still exist, and if so, how do i activate it?

I seem to remember someone asking the same quesiton in the last week, but I can't find it searching....

in the new version of Media Center (9.1), they have the properties panel down there ... if you right click a file and select properties, the panel should display.

If it displays as a standalone window (outside of the main program), just click the restore button (second from the right on the bottom) to put it back in place. The text at the bottom can be changed to "image" to display the cover art.

Here is a screenshot (http://home.mindspring.com/~jc2000/images/MC9/brushed.gif) of an example. My visualization and the lower left pane are both displaying the current cover art.

In recent 9.1 builds, the selected track in "playing now" would keep up with the currently playing track, keeping the image displayed relative to the playing track.
The latest doesn't do this, which is probably what you've noticed.
