Hello All,
Is it [possible to have a discrete heading separate
from music provision for electronic books. Currently it is all integrated in music .

You can set the media sub-type tag.

Once you set the [Media Sub Type] to "audiobook", you can then build a view, under audio, called "electronic books" or "audio books" or whatever you want.  Just set the rules to only include the audiobook media sub type.  You'll find that option under customize view > settings > included files > set rules for file display.

Good luck.

Brian.
