Title: How to make media keys control jriver at all times?
Post by: mattkhan on October 12, 2017, 04:30:16 pm
I'm specifically referring to the volume keys & using a logitech keyboard (if it matters)

I've noticed that the volume keys don't control the jriver internal volume if another application (e.g. browser, netflix) has focus. Is there a setting in jriver that influences this or do I need to dive around in windows somewhere?

The wiki appears to have a bunch of old articles on this which makes it hard to find an answer, IMV it would worth deleting some of this info

Those topics should still be good.

I can't find anywhere that defines the meaning of the media hot key options, can anyone explain?

Have you got any luck in solving this problem. I have got a similar one, it's troubling me very much. Any help will be appreciated!

I think my issue was related to the way using the WDM driver doesn't make a zone active. I have worked around this by making changes, outside of MC, so that some scripts control the change from one external app to another (and hence I can make MCWS/MCC calls that make the keyboard respond as I require)
