Title: GTX 1080 4K video problem
Post by: abcde on October 14, 2017, 02:41:02 pm
I have been playing 4K video using Media Center 23 without any problem using GTX 970. Today I replaced 970 with 1080. When playing 4K video, the lower half of the screen is smeared. I've tried several versions from 230062 to 230072. They all have the same problem.
This problem occurs when I select Red October HQ. If I select Red October Standard, there is no problem. Does anyone have this problem? Thanks.

By the way if I turn off hardware acceleration, the smear is gone.

I'd suggest running Display Driver Uninstaller (http://www.guru3d.com/files-details/display-driver-uninstaller-download.html) and then installing the latest drivers from NVIDIA.
