Title: MC slow and unresponsive, freezing constantly.

It's the only software I have that does this. Even when I haven't clicked a track or done anything.

And yes, I still have 22. Bought it a month or two right before 23 came out, wish someone would've told me to wait, but ...my mistake. Anyways, you'll get more of ma money when I have any to spend on this hobby of mine.

Sorry for all that, just frustrated. Anything I can do to speed this up? I guess an update is out of the question.

There have been some recent reports of Windows Defender causing trouble unless you exclude MC's programs.  The wiki has a topic on Windows Defender.  Read Awesome Donkey's posts from today.
