Title: Smartlists through DLNA.
Post by: sonci on October 15, 2017, 05:08:43 pm
Is it possible to browse smartlists through dlna? Even though I see the option, Playlist- Smartlists, when I select, it always hangs or say "No content available".
My music is located in an old Nas, so maybe it's just too slow for search function.

Smartlist have always worked for me over DLNA.
But then it all depends on how you are browsing them. I use JRemote and play the Smartlist to a DLNA renderer. My guess is you are browsing using a DLNA client that is looking for specific file types to play. I.e. mp3
My Roku channel that can browse DLNA works fine with smart lists i’ve Created
Just a guess,
