Hi,
I have upgraded to Windows 10 1709 and found out that with exclusive mode turned on the screen goes black. Can someone verify this? I don't know if I should re-post this in some kind of madVR forum, if yes please let me know.
Regards, JK

Exclusive Mode Works fine for me on a nvidia GPU (FYI - I no longer use exclusive mode anymore anyway).

I'm using an nVIDIA GPU as well (GTX 1070). May I ask why you don't use exclusive mode anymore? What's your recommendation for best video picture quality?

Make sure you remembered to reinstall the video drivers after updating.
I don't use exclusive mode any more either. Windows 10's presentation mode improvements mean that I get smooth playback in D3D11 windowed mode now.
Not sure if you can get >8-bit playback without exclusive mode though.

+1 - I no longer need Exclusive Mode to prevent frame drops + you don't get a mouse movement causing the visual drop in / out of Exclusive Mode.

I did reinstall the drivers, didn't help though. I'll give non-exclusive mode a try then and check back in a few weeks, maybe it's fixed until then. I prefer stripping jitter down to a minimum, but maybe I won't even notice a difference, who knows... ;-)

On Windows 10, you can.

I didn't realize this so I just tested with my Murideo Fresco SIX-A HDMI analyzer and my Nvidia GTX 1080Ti. If I use RGB or YCbCr444 output in the graphics drivers, it will show I'm outputting 12-bit (I'm using the EDID of my JVC PJ in the SIX-A) with Direct3D 11 for presentation mode in madVR.
