Title: MC23 Crashing

I have just installed 23 on MacBook
It is automatically recognising my music files but the program crashes after opening,, sometimes a few seconds sometimes longer but the longest it goes without crashing is about 20 or 30 seconds.

What version of MC?

What version of the OS?

Try turning off auto import.  Tools > Import

Jim, it is 23.0.74 I downloaded a version a few months ago and I had the same problem with that one.

I had a play about,,,, If I start it up and rush to: Tools> Import>Import a single folder and untick the Audio, Image and Video boxes and hit finish before it gets shutting down the program will run fine,,,, until the next time I go to start it. The three boxes are ticked automatically and I can't find any way to shut them off!
Then again should I have to shut them off?

You can turn off auto-import completely.  It's in the same area.
