Title: jriver 64 bits with vst plug-in
Post by: Pat Cote on October 25, 2017, 09:27:37 am
I installed jriver 64 bit
And i try to install tone plus 64 bits http://lvcaudio.com/plugins/toned/
In dsp studio module
and that doesn’t work
But With the 32 bits version that working.
Why I can’t install 64bits version of my plug-in.

And I can’t install a vst with the extension .vst3 only .dll working.
Is it possible to install vst with an extension .vst3

I installed the Toned plugin and selected it in Media Center 64-bit, and it runs just fine. I used the VST2 plugin (the DLL file).

C:\Program Files\Steinberg\VSTPlugins\Toned_x64.dll - which is the 64-bit VST2 plugin.

Use JRiver's own Parametric Equalizer. You get much more precision than a 31 band equalizer.

I tried with 32bits version and I heard  some distortions.
I have never been satisfied with a dsp there are always some distortions.
maybe I did some things wrong...

but I didn't try with 64bits.
As the 64 bits is faster than 32 bits.
does it  have a better control with  the dsp?
