Title: Feature idea / Product suggestion - standalone JRiver DSP driver
Post by: ronkupper on November 02, 2017, 12:35:31 pm
Hi Guys,

Have you considered by any chance taking the JRiver audio engine and bundling it in a standalone driver offering?
Something which can be used natively without WDM routing to MC (with all of its issues, I can give examples if wanted).

There isn't something as robust as JRiver DSP features out there (and again the WDM driver is not "cutting it"...)

I would definitely spend good money for this (while keeping MC as the player/library/etc, but still treating stuff like Tidal HIFI and Netflix 5.1 like first class audio citizens).

Thoughts?
