Title: MC 23 Audio Stutter on Video Playback

I'm trying to playback video using MC 23 and keep getting stutters on audio.

I have a Creative Soundblaster X-Fi Titatinium card with latest drivers, have all latest drivers recommended for my system, and am trying to play on a local drive that has no playback issues on other players with the same file.

I've looked at older reports of this, and tried setting audio playback to WASAPI for Creative X-Fi, tried increasing and decreasing the buffer, and tried switching output encoding to Dolby Digital on 5.1 channels (my setup).

No luck.

Help!

Antivirus maybe

If you have your HDD covered by AV, it will "Check on the way off" the disc and slow things up

Just a thought - I have my media drives excluded from AV.
