Title: Unlock button for Playlists failed - It was a contaminated library but why?

Today, sometime after updating to Mc 23 .81, my "unlock" button on my playlists in the Main library failed to work.  The unlock on the drop down worked for those same playlists.  Other playlists outside the library worked fine.  I ended up restoring an earlier version of the library and things are fine.  Just something to be aware of.
