Previous to the version 23.0.81 windows crashed if you played Tidal with exclusive mode and used the wdm-driver.
Now it may not crash, so you did something about that problem, but it still sounds awful. If you want to listen to tidal masters and use the WDM you can not use exclusive mode!
I have tried windows 8.1 and very powerful computer runnig windows 10, but it make no difference.
I can not be the only one with this problem?
What is the problem? Is the problem within the JRiver or the Tidal application?
I can use exclusive mode if I use my dac instead of the WDM driver as the soundcard but then i miss all the nice DSP options which is the main reason I use JRiver.

Presumably you mean it breaks up, crackles and sounds scratchy? That's what I get.
If you change the settings in tidal to limit to hifi (rather than master), then the problem is removed.
It would be nice to see it solved, but I'm not precious about MQA high res.
