When I connect my Android phone MC can't see it.
I have a ZTE Axon 7 Mini and am using MC 23 (Windows 10 64bit).
All my internal drives and external continue to show.
In the past, MC 22 brought up everything along with my old Android phones.
When I plug it in to my computer USB, it prompts on the phone what mode I would like.
Charge only, Install Driver, Connect to PC software, Media Device MTP, Camera PTP are the choices.
I choose Media Device MTP and the phone will be recognized in Windows Explorer.
I can navigate to Internal phone memory and the External Micro SD card in the device.
Often when plugging it in, Windows will prompt the 'What would you like this device to do' message.
Among the options are sync with Media Monkey and sync with Windows Media Player.
I fired up Media Monkey and yep it was listed under devices.
I have picked the other options when plugging in the phone and have installed the drivers from the phone.
Seems everything can see my phone except MC 23.
MC 22 32bit started crashing and has become unresponsive, so I downloaded the MC 23 64bit to try and thus far it is working well.
Except it not picking up my phone.

I've searched the forums and have found zero.

Anyone know of known issues or suggestions to fix.
Thank you

Fired up MC 22 and it picked up my ZTE right away.
I seem to remember MC 22 having endless waiting cycle and it becoming unresponsive after many reboots over period of days.
I got mad and just download new version to try.
Working now?
Would issue of MC 23 (64 bit) have to do with it being the trial version?
-
OK, this works in the trial version of MC 23 (32 bit)
So the issue seems isolated to MC 23 (64 bit).
Will not recognize my Android phone with MTP.

The 64 bit version doesn't have handheld support yet. Soon, I think.
-
Thank you for the response.
MC 22 and 23 (32 bit) are back working for me and are reading the phone.
I like 23 and will be upgrading soon.
Thanks again,

Has this been fixed in 64 bit MC23 or MC24 yet? From my experience it is not working in MC 23 (64 bit) yet. As I upgrade to MC 24, must I revert to 32 bit for it to recognize my Galaxy S9?
Cheers,
Jeff

64 bit handheld sync should be working.
-
Thanks Jim, but did you mean should be working in MC 23 or 24? If MC 23, is there a trick to get MC 23.0.104 (64 bit) to see my Galaxy S9 then? It's not showing up in Drives & Devices, I can't find it under "Explore", etc...
-
MC24. Sorry.
-
No worries Jim! I've upgraded to 24 (64 bit) and it's working like a charm again! Thanks!!
