Hey Steve (or whomever),
I'm getting an iPod in a few days.... does the plugin work better with 9.0 or 9.1?
Right now, I'm pretty happy with 9.0, but the talk here is getting me pretty excited about 9.1, so I can be persuaded to use it.
Also, is it just me, or are they changing their interface so that they can dumb it down for iTunes for Windows??

I've had pretty good success (barring a couple tricky bugs) with 9.1. I'm going to suggest sticking with 9.0 for the time being unless you're game to have strange things happen from time to time. Thus far, though, I've had no real show-stoppers.

whomever here :)
I have a 30 gig iPod (3G) and was having problems with 9.0 and frequent error code 23 messages.
Since version 9.032 of the plugin (and upgrading the iPod firmware to 2.0.1), I have yet to receive a single error code 23 message.
Additionally, 9.1 is very stable for me. I have no issues with crashing, etc ... and it's enjoyable to be able to voice my opinion about current development.

I'm running an ipod with 9.0 build 180 with no real problems (the only issue im having is related to an additional 3rd party incompatibility with audible.com which would exist in 9.1 as well). Backup your library and go for 9.1, if you have problems roll back (but make sure to backup your library first! 9.0 cannot read a 9.1 library!)

No problem here with my 3G Ipod and 9.1. Go for it, plus it's fun to play with beta software, especially when you get a new build a day (read - bugs are worked out in real time).
