Title: New Skylake nuc i7 intermitantly plays then It keeps saying wrong file type?

I just bought myself one of those new skylake nuc i7s and I thought I would have no trouble because i now have a machine with more grunt-It is playing movies sometimes and then when i go to play the same film later it says its in the wrong format and that my amp settings are wrong  and wont work even though I just used it to play that film and it played - its actually causing more trouble than the old slow one although it plays perfectly when it decides it wants to play any ideas?

Antivirus?

Are the files on a local drive?

Playback on the same machine?

Red October Standard or HQ?  Try both.
