Title: Configuring theater 'playing now' view?
Post by: fermenter on December 04, 2017, 05:48:38 pm
I'm only really discovering theater view for the first time, and it is amazing as a couch interface!

I'd like to tweak my 'playing now' screen though:

1. Can I remove the links to 'player' and 'display view' from the top menu bar?
2. I get a mysterious white dot immediately below the artist/track info, it looks the same as the progress pointer below it, but remains justified to the left - what is this?
3. I don't see the album name displayed (other than on any artwork) - can I add it?
4. The track progress pointer appears as a white dot with no frame of reference - can I get a better progress bar?

The dot is probably the volume.

If you move your mouse to the top or bottom, you should see more controls.

You can customize Theater View in MC's options.

Thanks Jim, you are right about the volume dot.

You can customize Theater View in MC's options.

But this is the problem - I can't see how to achieve points 1, 3 or 4?
