Title: Live Tv Pause (un-pause) is broken v23.0.89
Post by: tzr916 on December 09, 2017, 02:05:07 pm: Any version after 23.0.84 - Live Tv Pause is broken. Not sure if this change has something to do with it:

v23.0.89 problem:
Watch live tv.
Press Pause - Video/audio does pause but timeline does NOT continue to increase.
Press Pause again to resume playback - Video/audio plays for one second then FREEZES forever.
MC itself does not crash or freeze, but I cannot play/ff/rew/etc. Only choice is to press stop.

Tried rebooting PC and tuners.
Tried ROHQ and Standard mode.
Tried theaterview and display view.
Tried three different graphics drivers.

Tried v23.0.84 all is normal again.
Install v23.0.89 problem is back.
See example videos.... be sure to change settings>quality to 1080p when playing these so you can see the timeline-

V23.0.84 watch the timeline in the top edge advancing (as it should):

V23.0.89 watch how the timeline does NOT advance and when I un-pause - the video will play for one second then FREEZE forever (until I press stop):

Post by: robt on December 10, 2017, 04:23:33 pm: Working fine on my server too. If I pause live tv, the time stays the same but the "shifted" figure counts up as the time elapses. Recorded two programs tonight and no problems. Resume from pause is fine too.

Using .89 64 bit version.

Fixed: Pausing OpenCable and SatIP live TV would cause TV to stop buffering new data in recent builds.
