Hello,
Is there a MC 23 qpkg version to install on a Qnap NAS server?
Thanks,
B.

Don't think so.

Looks like the QNAP's OS uses libraries that are too old for MC23 to run. Your only option is probably through virtualization (e.g. Docker).

Thanks for the quick reply.
My problem is that i bought an MC23 Master License and cannot upgrade the MC22 on the Qnap.
Can it be arranged to have an MC22 license? MC 22 would be enough for me there I just dont want it to be expired...

Hey Guys,
I would appreciate an answer on yesterdays post. As of now it seems i bought the Master License in vain... :(
Thanks,

Check out the thread here re using a linux VM on the QNAP to run JRiverMC23. I use this setup and it works quite well and gives a lot more flexibility than the qpkg version.
Of course you also get all the ongoing updates with MC23.

For me it would be easier to make the MC22 run in the HD station without expiry. can it be managed by a MC22 license key?

last build. IIRC it works with a mc23 license.

I'm getting a bust with the updates that came in over the New Year.
EDIT: The bust was addressed by restarting the instance of MC. In my case, I went back to basics and reinstalled the qpkg. Logged into HD Station and started MC with no problem. The Qnap instance of MC shows up as a server in my local MC network.

Hello,
I was tempted to buy the master license because it was said in the forum that MC 22 is also licensed under license from MC 23. I have a QNAP HS 251 and a trial version of MC 22 installed. After 3 attempts to license the software with my masterkey I stopped. It does not work. Unfortunately, I can not find an MC 23 for QNAP. Could you please send me a free key for MC 22, so that the purchase of the master license was worth it for me?
Thank you
