Since Kindle is one of the most ubiquitous tablets out there, why don't you set up on this site an easy way to download Gizmo on a Kindle. Or is there another app that can be easily installed on Kindle that will give me remote for JRiver? All the searches I do on the internet lead me to long overly involved ways of getting this done. While it may be very involved, isn't there a way for you to make it easy for noncomputerphiles?

It's hard to understand why Amazon doesn't support the Play Store.

Easy to understand - it's a tough world out there. But there are workarounds available that involve lots of steps. At one time I had Gizmo up on both my Kindles, but I changed some hardware, it no longer works and darned if I can remember how I did it. You guys are computer whizzes. How about a string of actions that would execute with one command sequence - you guys could make it and post a link to that one master command sequence. I'm just wishing someone can take time to figure out a way for Kindle users to easily use Gizmo. I won't bother you any more about it.

Panel works as a remote for Media Center, and all you need is a web browser, although, I haven't tried it on a Kindle yet. For the URL, just enter the IP address of the device running Media Center followed by :<port number> (the port number is 52199 by default). For example: 192.168.0.20:52199
Panel will play to the web browser by default, but you can easily change that by clicking on the gear icon and changing the zone.

Is panel something I download? I tried to figure this out on the internet, but failed to understand where I find this panel.

No, it is part of MC on your MC server. It is a web page, or pages.

Just point your browser at the URL on your MC Server, as Brad said. i.e. 192.168.xxx.xxx:52199
Search the forum to find the threads discussing it. Or the Wiki. Here is a hint: https://wiki.jriver.com/index.php/Panel

Nevermind - I just got Gizmo installed on my Kindle Fire. I will make sure I know what I did and then post it here. Thanks

Panel is part of MC23. Here's how it works:
